The Atomic Age - A New Musical
The Atomic Age is a 20 minute musical that tells the story of Lucille Rodney,
a lonely and unfulfilled housewife in the suburbs of Chicago in the 1950s,
and her relationship with her friend Esmerelda.
Set during the era of post WWII America,
the musical touches on themes of human connection, alienation, longing
and superficial versus authentic happiness.
